Withington Assist is a community and voluntary organisation based in Withington, South Manchester. Our priorities are to reduce social isolation and loneliness in the community, support older people to continue living independently, and to provide volunteering opportunities. 

Running since 1969 we have supported hundreds of older people living locally through befriending, attending social activities and support services. Please see our social groups and support services pages for more information, or check out one of our recent newsletters. 

 

As a small, local organisation we are only able to take referrals for our volunteer support services (driving/befriending/odd jobs etc) for those living in the Withington area who are aged over 65.
