SERVICES                  Where possible we try to provide transport, either by volunteer driver or Ring and Ride.

Befriending

We can arrange a visitor to come and see you at home. It’s a good chance

to keep up with local news, share happy moments or air concerns.

Telephoning

Having a good chat with someone on the phone can really brighten your day.

It means that you are less isolated and is a good way of keeping in touch.

Lunch Club

Our weekly Tuesday Lunch Club not only provides a freshly cooked hot meal, but a comfortable place to sit, eat and make new friends.

Exercise Classes

Keeping as strong and flexible as possible will help you feel safe around the house, as well as out and about. Our Chair-Assisted class helps to keep you active, or if mobility is a problem, we can arrange transport to our Seated class. We have participants in their nineties - you are never too old.

Gardening

Our volunteer will cut grass and trim hedges. Keeping the garden tidy
is a great relief when it has become too much.

Film Club/Tea and Talks

On the first Monday of the Month we hold 'Tea and Talks,' with a speaker and light refreshments kindly donated by the local Co op. Past speakers include a wildlife photographer on birds and butterflies of Manchester, slides of BelleVue Circus and a film makers travel's in Tibet! Every third Monday we also have a film club, with popcorn and ice cream in the interval. Just give us a call to book!
